Lessons

I play in various ensembles – reaching from duos to orchestras – and am fluent in various styles of music (e.g. jazz, soul, pop, hip hop) as a reed player and composer. I love sharing my experience as a musician and teacher with aspiring musicians and students. That is why I have been teaching for the last 10 years. I want every one of my students to become the best musical version of themselves. That is why I value room for creativity, feedback and being a sparring partner for my students.

I teach all saxophones (alto, soprano, tenor and baritone) as well as flute and clarinet for all ages and levels of experience. It doesn‘t matter whether you want to start learning a new instrument, resume an old hobby or are just looking for a new teacher.

If you are a beginner, we will start with the basics: how to find the right equipment (instrument, mouthpiece, reeds, etc.), how to produce sound, how to read music and everything else you need to know in order to start your musical journey.
If you are more advanced we will work on improving technique, interpreting melodies and developing a personal style and musical language that suits you.

You think I may be the right teacher for you? Let’s arrange a trial lesson and get to know each other!
You have unanswered questions? Don’t hesitate to call or e-mail me so we can chat and clear things up!
